Official notifications of the July 2008 state examination have been posted to all applicants. To apply for an analysis of your examination results please download this form and follow the instructions. 

Successful applicants who have met all other requirements will each receive a registration certificate and an application for practising certificate form with their results.

Results will not be available over the telephone. 

The list below is an unofficial list containing the candidate numbers of those applicants who passed the July 2008 Nursing Council state final examinations.

The Nursing Council state final examinations are assessed on a pass / fail basis, thus an overall percentage is not allocated.

The questions for registered nurse candidates are allocated to one of four key categories, of which 60% is the required pass rate:

Registered nurse

Key categories

safe / effective environment
physiological integrity
psychosocial integrity
health promotion / maintenance

and / or to one of six subcategories, of which 50% is the required pass rate:

community health nursing
maternal and child health nursing
medical nursing
surgical nursing
mental health / psychiatric nursing

The Nursing Council state final examinations for nurse assistant candidates are also assessed on a pass/fail basis, thus an overall percentage is not allocated.
