Educational institutions offering Council-approved clinically focussed postgraduate nursing programmes

The attached educational institutions offer programmes that are approved by the Council as clinically focussed postgraduate nursing programmes.

Many of the master’s programmes listed include multiple exit steps, such as postgraduate certificates and postgraduate diplomas, as well as a master’s qualification. A postgraduate certificate or diploma may have a named specialty focus attached, e.g. postgraduate certificate (primary health care).

Programmes in blue text include courses approved by the Council as preparation for nurse prescribing.

While the Council approvals may be current, the programmes may not always be offered by the institutions each year.

Nurses are advised to contact the relevant school to clarify the qualifications currently being offered by that school.
