November 2011 State final examination results

 

Official notifications of the November 2011 state examination have been posted to all applicants. 

 

Successful applicants who have met all other requirements will each receive a registration certificate and an application for practising certificate form with their results.

 

Results will not be available over the telephone. 

 

The attached list (click here) is an unofficial list containing the candidate numbers of those applicants who passed the November 2011 Nursing Council state final examinations.

 

The Nursing Council state final examinations are assessed on a pass / fail basis, thus an overall percentage is not allocated.

 

Registered nurse

 

Key categories

The questions in the examinations are allocated to one of four key categories, of which 60% is the required pass rate:

safe / effective environment
physiological integrity
psychosocial integrity
health promotion / maintenance

and / or to one of six subcategories, of which 50% is the required pass rate:

 

Subcategories

ethical / legal safety
community health nursing
maternal and child health nursing
medical nursing
surgical nursing
mental health / psychiatric nursing

 

The Nursing Council state final examinations for enrolled nurse candidates are also assessed on a pass/fail basis, thus an overall percentage is not allocated.
