New medicines guidance for registered nurse prescribing in primary health and specialty teams

The Director-General of Health has today announced the updated medicines gazette notice for registered nurse prescribers. This announcement follows the Ministry of Health’s (2020/2021) consultation on proposed amendments to the list of specified medicines.

The Nursing Council of New Zealand’s medicines guidance for registered nurse prescribing in primary health and specialty teams has been updated here to reflect the changes.
